University of the Visayas Toledo City Campus Feeding Program

University of the Visayas Toledo City Campus conducted its first ever In School and Extension Feeding Program on November 22, 2019. More than 600 students combine from from the Elementary, Junior High and Senior High school department benefited the said event and more than 150 children at Poster, Toledo City Cebu were fed with nutritious Chicken Arroz Caldo and Champorado. 



The said Feeding Program was spearheaded by its Basic Education Coordinator Faith P. Dagala together with the chairmans Methosilah Basalo (Elementary), Antonette Alqueza (Junior High) and Charesse Villarin (Senior High).   Advisers, Subject teachers, Student teachers, SSG from the junior high and senior high department, GSP and BSP even parents from the elementary department helped out in making the said Feeding Program successful.


























They were assigned in different committees such as Cooking, Cutting and Preparation, Serving and Cleaning committee. In-school feeding program started around 11 AM and the Feeding Program extension at Barangay Poster in the afternoon at 2 PM. The said event was a success because of everybody's cooperation and the happy faces of filled tummies of children who were able to eat the warm meal of that day.
